You may have seen him in the streets of Calais on his little custom white bike. What is microgreen?


In his germination zone, set up in the room of his house, Xavier grows his own ” baby plants as he says. Micrograins for consumption are picked after the seeds have germinated and before the shoot. Growing success

On his small town farm, Xavier thought of everything in an environmentally responsible manner. That’s why since its inception he delivers all his customers by bike. Diverse customers as it fills the fridge of professionals and individuals. Restaurants, EHPAD (accommodation for the elderly), naturopaths or just word of mouth, Xavier Debuire strives to make micro-greens known to as many people as possible. This lifelong vegetarian sells 50 pounds for 3 euros; the price is lower than that of its French competitors.

Although there are still only about thirty producers in France, the success of micro-greens has been proven since they appeared in the Netherlands in the 1990s, and especially in the United States.
